Charles Olen Sumner, 58, passed away in Houston, Texas on January 10, 2012. A native Houstonian, he was born on March 24, 1953 to Sylvan Joseph and Pauline Inez Newton Sumner.

He is survived by his brothers, Glen R. Sumner & Maurice Sumner; his sister, Sylvia Schiffmayer & her husband Jeffrey; and nephews, John & David.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery (Section 19).
